Fundraising with Friends

We like to raise funds for a wide range of charities as we are all affected, or our loved ones are, by a number of medical problems and situations. So in support of one another, we like to support:

We like to 'give something back' and derive pleasure from doing something for our fellow man. It is also so good to work together in a shared venture.

We run Coffee Mornings and raffles, collect 5p pieces and even bras! We have attended Cancer Research UK events and have even danced in flash mobs and collected money in buckets all at the same time as having great fun together!

Bacardi Anyone?

We always have our Bacardi bottle at Class to collect 5ps.

The next instalment of £15 bagged up and ready for delivery to help SURE

Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment so folks can stay more local for treatment rather than having to travel daily  to Bristol.

We hosted a cake sale after our FLexercise class to help raise funds for local Scouts to go to Kenya in 2023 to help at a school. The generosity of my members helped William Appleton (1st Taunton Wilton scouts) make £120.

June 2022.

Last week every day after my outside classes, we had a “Takeaway Coffee Morning” event for Macmillan/CRY

Together we raised £365.32 which was divided equally between the two Charities.

We had planned to take folding chairs and flasks of coffee along but then the Rules changed (again!)

Thank you Girls, you’re good Sports!

You raised £177.54 for Sport Relief today. We had a ‘Jane Fonda-esque’ FLexercise Class this morning.

We danced, we drank coffee and ate cake. So good to have some fun in these worrying times. We were sensible however, we are following guidelines.

We shall keep calm and carry on dancing for as long as we can.
